What, if anything, are you doing differently?
I am fortunate to be able to easily work anywhere, so the pivot to working with clients completely remotely is natural. Interesting projects still walk in the door (can you help us brand a COVID antibody test?).
Are you staying creatively active?
Absolutely. Early this year, I started a series of cartoons for Capitol Communicator—”Brand Creep” focused on the marketing/ad/PR industry. Also, collaborating with a copywriter friend on a very cool, topical book project has been a creative challenge. Having a lot of fun with the cartoons, strategic writing, painting large canvases, painting small illustrations. Painting the bathroom. It’s refreshing to have the time to focus on messages and craft—without being rushed.
How are you sparking yourself creatively?
I love watching what people everywhere are doing from home. I am amazed at the creativity. Like that photographer shooting portraits remotely via users’ webcams. Hats off to you Cade!
